This midi keyboard is equipped with plenty of features that make it the perfect companion to Ableton Live. The only reverbs that totally "blend" with stuff are the Liquidsonics stuff, Relabs various emulations and their own takes on things and now this Arturia reverb right here. The Arturia Minilab Mk3 is a versatile midi keyboard and when used alongside Ableton Live, it's an incredible tool filled with potential. They just envelop the sound source without causing extra boomyness or other frequency response issues (unlike for instance Valhalla reverbs which all suffer from this problem, they always need some EQ or force you to set them relatively quiet in the mix). This is what I always felt Lexicon reverb units have done so well. It seems to sit better "around" the instruments, being very unobtrusive. ![]() Haven't used the UAD one but going on what I hear in videos I think I may prefer this one. Compared a bit to all my other reverbs and this one has a character of it's own and is surprisingly tweakable. ![]()
